For the Time Beings

Recent works by Rachael McHan & Dustin Covert

October 2 - October 31 2009

The series For the Time Beings explores the curious relativity of beauty and of memory. Each work serves as an empathetic vehicle for expression regarding a singular moment, reflecting how shared experiences and stories are almost always manifested differently in memory, and over time can evolve to barely resemble what we consider "truth". Thoughts, memories and dreams should not be restrained to simply activity inside the brain, these mental journeys are just as real and experiential as journeys we take in the physical realm.
